Stempoint is dedicated to providing healthcare professionals with the information they need to save lives. With a focus on medical innovation, our goal is to help validate emerging technologies that we believe in. We offer products that exceed the capabilities of what is currently on the market.
Any person who falls in a state of cardiac arrest only has 5 minutes before they suffer permanent brain damage. For every second that ticks away, they slowly forget who they are and the people they once loved. Five minutes is not enough time for victims to be quickly transported to medical care.
Using brain-cooling technology, Stempoint can increase this time to an hour.
Understanding the ProblemStempoint is currently developing a brain-cooling device to induce hypothermia within the brain without affecting any other parts of the body. Stempoint also offers a monitoring device dedicated to give real-time temperature feedback at multiple levels within and across the brain.
This provides more time for emergency transportation to medical care facilities and also for allocating proper necessities for organ transplantion.
